This page covers the waitlist on this site and the tester app you log in to.

If you join the waitlist

What we store: your email address, the date and time you joined, a random one-time code we use to confirm the address is yours, and the times we sent you the confirmation, you confirmed, and we recorded it internally. We also keep a flag for whether you signed up through the form or were already on the list before we added the confirmation step.

Confirming: submitting the form does not put you on the list. We email you a link, and you are on the list only once you follow it and press the button. The code works once and expires after seven days.

If you never confirm: the address is deleted 30 days after we sent the confirmation request — or 30 days after you asked, if we never managed to send one. Asking again restarts that clock, if enough time has passed for us to send you a fresh link. Once it is deleted you can sign up again as if for the first time.

What we send: the confirmation request, and later one email when there's room in the pilot. Nothing else. We also notify ourselves internally when an address confirms, which includes that address.

Why: to confirm the address belongs to you, and to email you when there's room. The list is not shared or sold.

If you're a tester

What we store: your email address, the topics your shows cover, and the episodes made for you. Logging in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in for 12 hours.

While you listen, the player records how far into each episode you got and how much of it you heard, so we can see which briefings get listened to.

Your email address, account and listening records are used only to run your account and the pilot. We don't pass them to any third-party service, and they are not shared or sold. The one exception is the email we send you (sign-in links and new-episode notices), which your own mail provider receives to deliver it.

Your episodes are researched, written and voiced from our servers, using outside AI services. They receive your shows' topics and the episode text, never your email address or anything that identifies you.

What we don't do

No third-party analytics, ads or tracking scripts, and no third-party fonts or scripts. The only cookie is the tester login, and nothing is kept in your browser's local storage.

How to be removed

Email contact@curatd-stream.com from the address you signed up or log in with, and it is deleted. For a tester, that includes your shows, episodes and listening records.
